Last night, Wild Flag made made their network television debut on Letterman. Guitarist, singer, and funny woman Carrie Brownstein led the quartet in a rocking rendition of the lead single, "Romance," off of their self-titled debut.
It was nothing but loud guitars, foot stomps, and a few shimmies and shakes from the band, who looked like they were thoroughly enjoying their time on Letterman's stage. They weren't the only ones enjoying it though. The host and longtime sidekick Paul Shaffer even seemed to take a liking to Wild Flag. Said Shaffer, "This is my new favorite band." No one is going to complain about that one. The only thing that could have made the performance better? Putting a bird on it, of course. Watch Wild Flag's "Romance" below.
