A triple shot of content is a good way to kick off any week. Good thing that's exactly how we got this here work week started. This past Sunday night, Baeble bundled up and trekked out through some of the coldest mother-bleepin' weather the city has seen yet this year...and wouldn't you know it? We were rewarded with one of the most cleverly diverse lineups we've ever had the privilege to shoot for our site.

Taking over the Music Hall of Williamsburg, Baeble trained our cameras on a poppy foursome from Brooklyn dubbed The End of the World. No, their sound is not the stuff of an apocalyptic variety...unless of course you prefer to go out in a blaze of anthemic indie rock. Oh you do? Ok. Then yes, The End of the World spit fire-and-brimstone. Happy reckoning people...

Next up was the slightly-demented showmanship of Tim Fite and his always interactive sidekick Sexy Leroy. After rounding up the audience (seriously... Leroy roped in the audience so they couldn't get away), Mr. Fite and his sexy sidekick lead the audience through a maniacal bit of performance story telling, aided as always by his own unique set of audio-visual accompaniment. Our favorite moment? "Jo-Jo and Bobby Stab a Mother*^$!er. I'm sure there's a life lesson to learned somewhere in there!

Finally, the evening's headliners lead the room through a seriously slick bit of straight-laced rock and roll. Yes...there's nothing too incredibly complicated about what Toronto's Constantines do when they take the stage. But that doesn't mean that anyone can touch them. When Constantines implode the foundations of their songs with a heavy dose of impromptu theatrics, they do so knowing all five musicians will meet somewhere on the other side...ready to plod through the rest of tune at hand. It's impressive, to say the least. It's also the result of four classic full-lengths (the band pulled songs from each album) and over ten years of experience. - David Pitz
