The Death Rattle Of Death Grips

If rap-punk weirdos Death Grips are no longer with us at least they're leaving a suitably absurd parting gift. The second part of their dual LP, jenny death (the first was niggas on the moon, which hit in June, just a month shy of their break-up), is set to hit well, nobody's sure just when, it's kind of a surprise though signs point to "soon," but the release date of their first single is now. They've just released the album's first single, "Inanimate Sensations," which we've tagged on below.

The video's about what you'd expect -- an aggressive and frustratingly choppy collage of unconnected images more like a pretentious film student's final video-essay on Baudrillard and Foucault than a straightforward narrative -- while the music is marked by the same kind of abrasive bark and schizophrenic rhythm that characterized the band for their four years of existence.
