The Grammy nominees were announced last night, and a couple of categories really stand out to us. Check out two of our favorite (and now Grammy nominated) artists performing at Music Hall of Williamsburg, only on Baeble. We caught
Mumford and Sons at the height of their CMJ ascent in 2009, and
Foster The People this past summer as their record "Pumped Up Kicks" was just beginning to burn a hole in the charts.
We could spend several pages of blog discussing the theoretical implications of nominating Bon Iver as best new artist (is it 2007?) or wondering how exactly Bruno Mar's "Grenade" could possibly win an award, but we really just want to celebrate how two of our favorite concert shoots of all time have at least three nods each. Hooray!
