It seems that every actor has an album coming out these days, but Charlotte Gainsbourg (21 Grams, AntiChrist, Science of Sleep) was putting out music before most (and good music at that). Her first album dropped at ripe old age of thirteen and she didn't return to music for two decades afterwards. When she did decide to record another album, 2009's IRM, she brought along a friend for some help. The friend happened to be none other than Beck. Now, the two are back with a new album and have released a single called "Paradisco."
The track is rhythm heavy, featuring single note guitars, a thumping bass line, and requisite hand claps and danceable drum beat. Beck's fingerprints are all over the music as Gainsbourg coos with her breathy voice. Give "Paradisco" a listen below. Gainsbourg's third album, the Beck produced Stage Whisper, will drop on 12/13.
