If singer-songwriter Dolfish is known for anything at this point in his young career, it's his stark arrangements and shrill, old-timey vocals - which is what makes DJ Self Help's remix of "God Is the Loneliest of Lovers" so intriguing. Self Help takes a three minute track and makes it a minute longer, chopping and screwing, adding hip-hop percussion and vocals effects. The result is a most unlikely club record - a trippy dance song whose country, indie roots are somehow still tangible.

    Take a listen below.

Dolfish's new album, I'd Rather Disappear Than Stay The Same, is out now on Afternoon Records.
