Hope you're all somewhere comfortable, gorging on the bounties of the season, loosening up the waste line, watching the Detroit Lions kick and claw their way to their first win of the season...all before ultimately slagging off into some Tryptophan enhanced, acid dream land. It's Thanksgiving after all...THE GREATEST HOLIDAY OF THEM ALL (in my humblest of opinions). You, my dear reader, deserve to take in the down time.
There's plenty to be thankful for this year. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows it. First off, at the risk of possibly alienating a puny percentage of our readers, there's the election. Obama did it...and for that I'm oh so thankful. Secondly, there's the Chicago Cubs. You don't think I'd want to jeopardize the all mighty sense of self-deprecation that accompanies rooting for the loveable losers by actually winning the World Series, do you? Of course not! There's always next year for that.
Also, there's Baeble, of course! We've got so much to be thankful for around here. This year has brought with it the best batch of performances we've ever had the pleasure of filming for the site. Black Lips, Dizzee Rascal, HEALTH, JBB, Lykke Li, Matt and Kim; artists like these - plus many many others have made it easy for Baeble to do what we do. We are forever grateful to the bands and musicians that have chosen to work with us this year.
Most importantly, we're thankful for you, our loyal Baeble viewers and readers. To say we couldn't keep this site running without you is an absolute understatement. We appreciate your commitment to both the site, and the artists we feature. It means the world to us. Stick around through the end of the year, as we've still got three new shows to unveil before January. You'll also definitely want to continue kicking around the site to see what we have up our sleeves for our end of the year reviews.
