The Majorleans are a relatively new band, but their music is already something we can see standing the test of time. When members Nick Francis DiFonzo and Chris Buckle met at NYC's East Village bar Boxcar, they knew they where headed toward making something pretty special with their talents combined.
Fast forward to the guys in the studio recording their debut album Black Belt
, who faced many roadblocks that could have shelved the project, from Nick surviving a serious auto accident with little to no injury, to finding Mercury leaking through the ceiling of their rehearsal/tracking room. They weathered the storms and Baeble is stoked to exclusively stream the album in its entirety.
The riff heavy tracks, complemented by uptempo beats, and buttery vocals at times could be mistaken for rock legend, Lou Reed. So insanely GOOD.
About the album, Nick says, "Making Black Belt was like being in an extended brawl with no one there to break it up. It was a good time. These songs came right from the life to the page to the sound."
