See, this is what I'm talking about. As a bachelor, all I really want is some love and to be fed cannolis. Weezer hit the nail on the head. "Thank God For Girls" is Weezer's newest single, and a really strong effort at that. A rugged song from the lyrics to the chorus, Weezer has never shied away from the unorthodox and they certainly don't here. "Thank God For Girls" itself is this weird, philosophical, pre-pubescent documentation of the overwhelming affection "girls" are always able to provide and ease our weak hearts. The video on the other-hand, is a plump pastry-filled visual of a little bit more than you can chew. No, literally. There are too many cannolis in the video for even a broad-shouldered Italian like myself to handle.

Following up their last record in 2014, Weezer bring the sweets with this new single. It's got a punch to it that might even surprise some fans, considering it's the same band who also wrote "Say It Ain't So." "Thank God For Girls" is an understatement; women are superheroes. Now, don't get mad at Weezer (or me) for any sexist remarks here, but for real, thank God for girls. And Weezer. And cannolis. Yeah, thank God for cannolis.
