Everyone dislikes Bono
-- whipping up insults to lob at the ole' blowhard is actually a competitive sport amongst bored music journalists -- and I can't imagine that anyone was terribly thrilled he and his were about to fill up Jimmy Fallon for the next week, but it's hard to spew venom when the ole' jerk's so beaten up from his November 16th bike crash in Central Park that he's going to, in the words of Dean Lorich (Bono's orthopedic surgeon), "require intensive and progressive therapy."
How bad was it? I'll spare you the gory details but know that with three fractures -- one on the left side of his face, another on his left shoulder blade and an incredibly severe fracture to his left humerus -- and extreme damage to his left hand the U2
frontman is going to be out of commission for a spell.
