Another track has leaked from
Contra! The highly (perhaps too highly?) anticipated sophomore album from
Vampire Weekend isn't due out until January, but we now have two samples to get those gears going in anticipation. It turns out "Cousins" is more up beat than the first sneak peak "Horchata", and not quite as self aware, which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. The dance ready, frenetic drumming and catchy chorus captures what
Vampire Weekend does best: pop music. I wonder which side of the fence the rest of the album is going to land on. -
