German hard rockers Rammstein
want to take you for a fun day on the beach in the video for their new single "Mein Land," off of their upcoming retrospective MADE IN GERMANY 1995-2011
The video, inspired by the surf movies of the 1950s and 60s, features the boys enjoying a wholesome day in the sun with some beach babes playing volleyball, surfing, and dancing.
The girls, in their vintage bikinis, are all over the guys, in their short shorts and plaid shirts, as they run around chasing each other, being far too liberal with some sunscreen. Everything seems to be going swimmingly until singer Till Lindemann takes off running down the beach doing his best impression of the other great musical talent to come out of Germany, David Hasselhoff. Then, night falls, and it's back to how you imagine Rammstein. The swimsuits and sunscreen are traded in for black leather and make-up. The hula girls ditch their bikinis for, well, nothing (NSFW). Oh, and everything is on fire. Yep, that sounds like Rammstein. So throw up your devil horns, bang your head, and watch the video for "Mein Land" down below.
