Do you ever have a few drinks one night and then check your phone the next day, frantically scrolling through your messages to make sure you didn't send that text? You know, the ex text? Do you ever feel like you need a pat on the back or a gold star when you find out that you in fact didn't make a complete fool out of yourself since you know how important it is to appear that you are just so much better without that failed love? Well, Panic! at the Disco reminds you that you're not alone in the new video for the single "Victorious" off their forthcoming album.
One of my personal middle school favorites is back with new music, and lead singer Brendon Urie is the last man standing from the original line up when the band debuted its double platinum album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out back in 2005. "Victorious" is off the band's latest album Death of a Bachelor that's set to release this January. Panic! still has the bright daydream pop sound they did back when Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy discovered them, and Urie still shimmers in his Patrick Stump style voice and adorable misdemeanor. Even if you're not a fan of their music, you can't deny the fact that this guy is just plain charming. Check out Urie get over his ex and be "victorious" in his post break-up battle in their latest video.
