Sweedish indie percussion popper Lykke Li
is currently touring Europe in support of her third studio album I Never Learn
. This one's a crusher, but Li blew in on the bold Scandinavian breeze with a different kind of indie pop. Her wildly catchy inaugural LP, Youth Novels
, was a carefully structured collection of dissonant pop arrangements that came together in an explosion of bright physical pop. The stuff of toe tapping, and from there subconsciously to vogueing. Infectious bop, drummed up from the pensive depths of the well that one fills with the wrung out droplets acquired by going under a few times.
So here it is kids, your weekly fix... #TBT to that time Baeble shot Lykke Li play, purr, and pop through the grit-lite, spark-heavy hits off one of the most refreshing records of the 2000s: Youth Novels
I Never Learn
