Florida's the band in Heaven (and yes that is the correct capitalization scheme) are putting out pop songs with a dark, fuzzy twist that will remind many of the production quality of Sonic Youth and pop sensibility of Pavement. Their recently released demo has a certain amount of depth that most would only expect from an offical LP release or at least an EP. Dark yet airy tracks like "The Tunnel into your Dreams" followed by exhilierating pop songs like "High Low" reveal some deep song writing abilities. Trying to categorize them is tough. Fuzzy-Dark-Airy-Pop? I guess that'll have to work for now. Their demo is currently being offered for free from the band's bandcamp site.

They have already played with recogonized band's such as Surfer Blood and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart throughout FLorida and are planning a big East Coast tour is being planned. Check out their songs below.-brendan mehan
