We're fast approaching
The Lion's Roar, the sophomore offering of beautiful folk prowess from the Söderberg sisters. Better known as
First Aid Kit, the girls are known for their impeccable harmonies and incredible musicianship, despite their youth. The duo unveiled another song from their Mike Mogis-produced LP, called "Emmylou." At this point, it's near impossible to tell the difference between their studio-honed recordings and their live sessions... a good problem to have for a folk act. Check them out performing "Emmylou" live for KCRW and "Morning Becomes Eclectic" below.
The full LP is slated for release on 1/24/2012.
First Aid Kit originally wowed us in a Rockwood session, where the teen-aged sisters displayed a gargantuan amount of talent.
