22-year-olds, Heather Boo and Emma Rose are best friends who make up the babely duo, Beau
. The New York-based indie-folk duo has supported acts such as Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, BØRNS, and Miike Snow and released their debut album, That Thing Reality
Beau has just released a video for "Leave Me Be" off their debut album and it follows the duo around New York City. The video takes to the likes of Sofia Coppola's simplistic film style, which gives the video such a unique aesthetic through the dreamy cinematography. It captures the honest beauty of the grungy streets of New York - giving you a sense of Beau's daily environment - to finding comfort in hugging your best friend while in an empty apartment or dancing on the city's rooftops. "Leave Me Be" is full of haunting vocals and a vintage-inspired folk sound that makes it impossible not to fall in love with Beau.
They're currently working on new material, which is set to be released early next year. And you can stream That Thing Reality
