After that, exposure to soul at university, and more recently, electronic music. It's a maturation of taste that makes complete sense, given the music Jamie Woon brought to this session from SX '11. Here, the much hyped South Londoner shares songs that are both curious and captivating, sourcing all those bits of inspiration mentioned, and dispersing them across a calming, musical craft. The result is a musician who's evolved at an opportune time, finding himself at the middle of a dub step revolution that includes the likes of James Blake, Little Dragon, and Four Tet.
