For those who grew up alongside Eminem's music career, the Detroit artist's arresting tales of anguish readily acted as an aid to your own teen angst. His forthcoming album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which leaked earlier this week, however, displays for the first time an inspirited Eminem in one particular track entitled "Headlights", featuring guest vocals from fun.'s Nate Ruess. Although Ruess's vocal build-ups unsurprisingly possess a nail-to-chalkboard effect, Eminem unleashes an emotional apology to his mother well worth hearing. Listen below.

MMLP2 is in stores November 5th.
