Neon Indian just released a video for his song "Slumlord Rising," off his new unbelievable album Vegas Intl. Night School. The video is just as translucent and airy as the song itself; Neon Indian is so impressive at stapling these thematic elements to eccentric electronic loops. And the video? Think Dark Knight Rises meets Night at The Roxbury, meets that Netflix show Narcos. There's blood, there's choking collars, and there's a disco. "Slumlord Rising" sort of takes on it's own enterprise in the video, besides it solely being a flashy, bedazzled song that you can't (and won't) stop listening to. So Bane, the Butabi brothers, and "El Patron." Neon Indian; you are something else.
