WE'VE GOT GREAT NEWS. The trailer for The Netflix Original Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life has officially been released and we, along with the rest of the internet, ARE FREAKING OUT. Lorelai and Luke are all grown up, Rory and Jess might be back together, Emily Gilmore is wearing a t-shirt, Kirk is still randomly hanging around, and oh, did we mention -- Emily Gilmore is wearing a t-shirt?! Because of this monumental occasion and the happiness that we cannot not simply express with words, we have decided to compile 10 songs and GIFs that will explain to you just how excited we are for November 25th, the day this is released.
1. "Happy" by Pharrell Williams
WE FEEL LIKE A ROOM WITHOUT A ROOF BECAUSE GILMORE GIRLS.
2. "You Make My Dreams" by Daryl Hall & John Oates
The Gilmore Girls revival makes our dreams come true.
3. "So Happy I Could Die" by Lady Gaga
No, we are NOT exaggerating.
4. "You Made Me So Very Happy" by Blood, Sweat & Tears
"You made me so very happy, I'm so glad you came into my life." I mean, those lyrics are clearly about Gilmore Girls and not a boyfriend.
5. "Adorn" by Miguel
We really like Gilmore Girls. Like, a lot. We're kind of in love.
6. "Hot" by Avril Lavigne
Gilmore Girls is so fabulous. Gilmore Girls is so good to me.
7. "Into You" by Ariana Grande
This one is pretty self-explanatory. We're so into Gilmore Girls, we can barely breathe.
8. "CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!" by Justin Timberlake
You know this feeling we have about Gilmore Girls? Yeah, well we can't stop it or control it in any way. It's all roses and sunshine as long as this revival exists.
9. "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors
Today is the best day of our lives because not only is the Gilmore Girls revival confirmed, but it's dropping in exactly ONE MONTH!
10. "I Really Like You" by Carly Rae Jepsen
The lyrics are "I really, really, really, really, really like you," but what Carly should have written is "I really, really, really, really, really like Gilmore Girls."
We know, Luke. We know...
