created a concept film inspired by glass. Well, FKA created a concept film inspired by Google Glass. The two minute film was conceived and directed by it's star, and plays more like a music video than a commercial. As shameless plugs go, it's pretty rad.
Partially filmed using Google Glass, and featuring original choreography, the piece is built around a re-scored version of her songs "Video Girl" and "Glass & Patron." The white box set evokes that void which hosts our content, we call it the internet, and it appears to be haunted by "girls from the video." The lyrics from "Video Girl" loop to punctuate twig's very physical exploration of glass as the captor, the reflector, and now the home of content, image, or—if you're FKA twigs—self.
