Last Friday night, hundreds of people shuffled into Carnegie Hall to witness hometown hero folk-trio The Lone Bellow's
live performance. But many other fans who hadn't shelled out big bucks for seats in the historic theater were also treated to a divine, impromptu performance from the trio 60 blocks south in Washington Square Park earlier that day.
The group, who since releasing their self-titled debut has garnered an ample following of folk-friendly fans, paraded through the sunny square playing songs like "Green Eyes And A Heart Of Gold" and "You Never Need Nobody" to their pied piper following of curious onlookers.
