On this day twenty-seven years ago, British singer-songwriter Jess Glynne was born. In honor of her birthday, we're throwin' it back to our exclusive interview with the vocal powerhouse.

Jess Glynne has been giving us euphoric music with soulful vocals and bouncy beats since she became widely known for appearing on Route 94's "My Love." Around the same time, Glynne collaborated with Clean Bandit to release "Rather Be," and both songs hit the U.K. number one spot in 2014. The same year, her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, was released and her fans have been anxiously waiting to hear more of her effortless blend of soul, pop, house and disco music.

Well... GOOD NEWS! Jess Glynne has started writing music for her second LP and is working with amazing producers and writers such as Skrillex, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Toby Gab (who has produced for Beyonce, no big deal). Glynne hasn't said when the new record will be released or if it'll be anything like her debut album but we're already craving it. So, here's to you, Jess Glynne.
