I'd say that's a perfect way to sum up "Mama Told Me,"
Big Boi's first official single off his upcoming album,
Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. "Mama Told Me" is a groovy funk-synth number that definitely has hints of Prince (a huge plus in our book), as well as Destiny's Other Child, Kelly Rowland providing the hook's vocals. And as you can see above, Big Boi's still got it as far as rhyming goes. Until Outkast decides to come back, this is actually a pretty awesome place-holder.
