In one day, New York City bars and various other venues will be saturated by some of today's best young artists. Unfortunately, we all can't take off work to drink beers and listen to great live music, but Baeble is returning to the rescue with the weekend's top showcase:
The Launch Pad. In this edition of the Countdown, we are highlighting Letting Up Despite Great Faults and Cruiser, two bands playing The Launch Pad on Friday, October 19th.
Letting Up Despite Great Faults (pictured above) brings to Williamsburg some of LA's finest dance-pop electro sounds. Their second LP
Untogether was released just last week, and it is a divine complement to the resurgence of the genre. Listen to one of their latest tracks, "Bulletproof Girl," below.
Cruiser (above), the admirable solo project of Philadelphia's Andy States, released his first EP earlier this year, and we're pretty stoked to experience it live. Preview the electronic-rockabilly vibes below in "The Fritz."
Be sure to check out our previous editions of the Countdown:
Admiral Fallow and Barcelona and
Born Ruffians and Choir of Young Believers. And RSVP for the event below.
