CMJ will be full of parties, so let us tell you about the cool ones! Like this one from
Force Field PR, featuring recent album reviewees
These United States (who we
like lots). Force Field has hosted parties with
Beach House and
St. Vincent in the past, and this year they have the aforementioned States, as well as
Real Estate and DJ sets from
Alan Palomo of
Neon Indian. The best part? The event is totally free and open to the public; no badge necessary! That is like, a hundreds of dollars value absolutely free! Call now!
The date is Wednesday, October 21st, and the location is
Piano's on the LES. It is a day party, so it starts at noon (the same time your CMJ alcohol consumption starts). The lineup is below:
P.S. The poster was designed by one of FFPR's favorite childrens authors (that is hip! and they have more than one?),
Dallas Clayton. Skip the panels! Panels are for nerds. Let's listen to music instead. We will meet you there for the first (and far from last) beer of the day. -
