Out and About: Walk The Moon at Bowery Ballroom

Walk The Moon brought their electrifying summertime beats to the Bowery Ballroom last Saturday. The room was packed with young and courageous fans, whose faces were all painted up to resemble the free spirited characters from the band's "Anna Sun" music video. The electric pop band gave us a highly energetic and quite inspirational performance. Lead singer, Nicholas Petricca, gave a small speech before playing the song, "I Can Lift a Car," where he told the audience to let go of everything that has been bothering them during the last week, let their bodies loose, and move to the music. Walk The Moon strongly encouraged the audience to jump back into the summer of 2012 and forget about the harsh, cold winter that was beyond the venue's doors. The band certainly brought back that summer feel, creating a large dance floor with their warm guitar riffs and upbeat synth tunes.

Walk The Moon is expected to play a slew of East Coast shows in following few months before setting sail to Europe. Be sure to check out their single, "Anna Sun," below the photos!
