NPR featured Foxygen as WXPN's "Artist To Watch" for the month of January and subsequently the guys were interviewed on the World Cafe. The band gives some nice details, such as how their collaboration with Richard Swift came about and the science behind writing all the songs for the new record in a week (Read our review here). Additionally, Sam France and Jonathan Rado open up about their history making music together, from covering the Doors to forming a band in the 8th grade and all the albums they've made since. They also got a chance to play a couple of tunes from We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic. The set included honest renditions of "In The Darkness," "San Francisco," "Make It Known," and "Shuggie."
