Critics and fans alike have been saying fantastic things about To Kill A King; In their earlier days, The Guardian eloquently crowned them, "Most likely to seek redress for the years of indie landfill." The five-piece acclaimed UK rock ensemble have been doing just that, and today they released a new track off of their upcoming self-titled LP. Deep and downtempo, "The Chancer" is powerfully sparse and evocative of an older, better brand of rock and roll. Listen for the shimmering drums (including subtle cowbell), dense harmonies, and cryptic lyrics speaking of angels, demons, and staying strong. The album drops March 2nd on Xtra Mile Recordings, and the band is gearing up for a UK tour following the release. Pre-order your copy here and receive a free download of "The Chancer." Check out the track below, and watch the video for their previous release "Love Is Not Control."
