is starting 2017 off strong by going on a world tour (the North American leg starts in Sacramento on April 24th) and they'll be dropping a full-length album at some point this year. The LA trio released a single, "ILYSB" last year and we finally have a video for it - and it's pretty creepy.
It starts out with the boys of LANY cruising in a convertible then cuts to a scene of a girl and a boy sharing some romantic stares and a glass of wine. Then shit gets weird. The trio pulls over, puts on Freddie Kruger-style masks and it couldn't have been more predictable when they reach in the truck to grab some baseball bats and take off through the woods. At one point of the video, Paul Jason Klein is staring at a wall of photos of the girl with a lollipop in his mouth. What could've easily been a sweet fairytale about two lovers for a song that's actually an acronym for "I love you so bad" turns into a twisted story about an unhealthy obsession. But, I'm not going to lie: I kind of love it. Way to throw us a twisted little curveball, LANY.
