Swedish twee-folk outfit
First Aid Kit released their second LP,
Lion's Roar in the U.K. today and will be released tomorrow in the U.S. on 1/24. The final track of the album "King of the World" has been released in advance and features vocal work from Bright Eyes frontman
Conor Oberst.
Soaring harmonies and a mind-burrowing guitar piece make this a stand out track. Fans of The Weepies or Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros should take a listen to this track with its old school folk sensibilities and gorgeous vocals matched with a darker lyrical dissonance that makes for an instantly engaging single.
