Mark Ronson's year is off to a great start. Riding high off his number-one hit "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars, Ronson recently covered Billboard
, touching on the topics of his new album Uptown Special
, Amy Winehouse, and his return to the public eye.
Particularly interesting is the way he fondly discusses Winehouse. Ronson details working with Winehouse, stating how she "was inspiring, because when you work with someone that great, you suddenly want to be better. In every way, it put me on the map. Take that album away, and you and I would definitely not be talking right now." Ronson even went as far to dedicate
the album to Winehouse.
