Jack White's The Dead Weather have released two new singles that will be included in their sophomore album that's scheduled to release way off in 2015, which will be their first since Sea of Cowards in 2010. Luckily, our impatience will be eased as the band plans to periodically set loose these series of two-song sets until the entire collection has shown itself. Today's track, "Rough Detective," is the B-side off the first two-song package entitled, "Open Up (That's Enough)". The song is locked into a tight groove characterized by Jack White's signature, crunchy guitar and crisp vocals. The mixing is particularly interesting between White and Alison Mosshart's (The Kills) vocals and the rhythm and lead guitar, which seem to split the track in two. Listen to "Rough Detective" below.
