How the mighty fall. With the imminent release of their sixth studio album, American Beauty/American Psycho, Fall Out Boy is making the media rounds to promote the new project. At BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, the band decided to give a shot at Mark Ronson and Bruno Mar's No.1 single "Uptown Funk." Much like the other songs the band releases today, the cover is a dud.

While once innovative and fun, the pop punk group now try to infuse all their "influences" into every little thing they do. The result is chaotic, annoyingly catchy, and simply a massive let down compared to their string of mid-2000s hits. Here, FOB add fuzz and crunchy guitar effects while Patrick Stump's wail simply falls short. Hopefully the album is a little more inspired than this effort, but I wouldn't bet on it.
