The first acts set to perform at the Grammy Awards, which recognizes outstanding achievements in the music industry, were announced today. So far, the lineup includes first-time Grammy performers AC/DC, Eric Church, and Ariana Grande. Artists returning to the stage are Madonna and Ed Sheeran.
Sheeran and Grande will be among the competitors for the Best Pop Vocal Album, while Church has been nominated for the Best Country Album award. Madonna, who is no stranger to the awards ceremony, has been nominated 28 times and won seven Grammy awards since 1986.
The complete list of performers is still a mystery, but it's been rumored that you may also be able to catch U2, who are nominated for Best Rock Album, Taylor Swift, who is nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance and Nicki Minaj, nominated for Best Rap Song(no word on whether or not she'll be attending with a Pope, as she did in 2012). Tune into the awards on February 8th at 8 pm(EST) on CBS to find out!
