LA folkies The Borrowers Debt sing of "Walking Home From Hollywood" in their new video.
The Borrowers Debt first played together on the side of the street in the back of an old hatchback station wagon. This memorable- albeit odd- beginning is a perfect illustration of the bands ideals: playing anytime, anywhere, and it just feeling right. With elaborate four-part harmonies, they cultivate a nostalgic, old-timey sound- unsurprising as they cite influences including Crosby Stills and Nash, America, and Simon & Garfunkel. Their debut EP, 'A Treehouse Narrative, received five stars from Indie Music Reviewer, landing them a spot as one of the top 25 Indie Artists of 2012.
Fans liken TBDs sound to that of The Lumineers, Fleetwood Mac, and the Civil Wars, and fellow musicians wax poetic over their spot-on harmonies. The Borrowers Debt puts on an enthralling, intimate live show, and insist that a live performance is the best way to experience the music.
