Tucson quartet Steff and The Articles
set a catchy grab bag of pop, jazz, indie, and more exotic flourishes with the tragic story of a sugar rush gone bad in this video premiere for their new single, "I Want More".
Tucson, AZ quartet Steff And The Articles has announced a summer of new material and live shows. Following the release of their EP, Why It Was So earlier this year the group will release two brand new singles this month. The tracks, "Call You Mine," (out digitally on July 24th) and "I Want More" (out digitally on July 29th) will be accompanied with brand new videos, as well as an official video for the previously released "What A Terrible Thing To Do."
Named for front-woman Steff Koeppen (vocals/keyboards), Steff And The Articles create sophisticated pop that bridges the gap between jazzy and indie while sneaking in classical, folk and even some ethnic influences from time to time. The variation in their music has gained the group comparisons from singer/songwriters like Ben Folds and Elton John to more contemporary emo/indie groups like Eisley and Copeland.
