Peter Aristone brings a lyrical and cinematic intimacy to life in "Gold."
Peter Aristone studied voice and music production at the renowned Jazz Music Conservatory in Prague going on to become a sound engineer. Success came quickly as he mixed and mastered the album 'Angels Share for ELAN. Peter also oversaw the sound at their infamous Prague concert in front of 90,000 people.
The live experience kick started his long time ambition of being in a band himself so he focused on working with song writers to learn the trade. Grammy nominee music programmer Carmen Rizzo (Seal and Alanis Morisette), session bass player Jamie Muhoberac (Linkin Park and Adam Lambert) and Tal Bachman, writer of the worldwide hit Shes so high, all worked with Peter helping him on his way.
Having topped the Czech charts as a frontman of the pop-rock band Popcorn Drama, Peter pursued his song writing with a host of internationally successful names including Guy Erez, Carmen Rizzo, Emerson Swinford, Emma Ejwertz and Darren Berry. From a six month stay in LA Peter moved to Kensal Rise in North West London where he set up a second writing studio with his good friend and writing partner Darren Berry (Razorlight side project Zazoo and La Roux writer) on the infamous Kensal Road. A chance meeting with producer and percussionist Greg Haver, where a conversation of all things Manic Street Preachers firmly bonded a relationship, has led to Peter recording his debut solo album entitled Nineteen Days in Tetbury at Gregs Modern World Studios in spring 2013.
Whilst Peter was recording Grammy nominated artist Stonebridge called up to request that he rework Peters song Crash and Burn which presently holds the top spot in Poland and was also licensed to Kontor Records and Sony Music in Germany!
The first single SUNLIGHT came out on 29th July last year in the UK. The song has received a very positive feedback resulting in spot plays on BBC 2, licensing offers from several European countries and cooperation with a host of acclaimed musicians including Melanie C and James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers) who decided to contribute his backing vocals and additional guitars on the album track CRASH AND BURN.
A succesful series of four London gigs happened in February and March 2014. The debut album was released that year, following on from the 2nd single COOL AS YOU which is a duet with Melanie C (ex Spice Girls). The track came out digitally in the Czech Republic on 28th March 2014 and its quickly climbing up the radio charts. Melanie C also decided to support the single by live appearances in London (Queen of Hoxton) and Hard Rock Cafe, Prague. Both gigs were sold out.
Peter is currently busy with writing songs together with a handful of world-class songwriters such as Sacha Skarbek (James Blunt, Miley Cyrus, Adele). His new EP is expected to come out in September 2015. In the meantime, the single Sunlight is still going strong and has been chosen as the official anthem of the Winter Universiade 2015. In April, the new single No Second Time Around was released.
