It's hard to imagine how
Moby
could have made "Pale Horses", a track from his upcoming album
Wait For Me
(
Mute
), more depressing. But by churning out a video that most closely resembles a Zoloft commercial, he defies the odds. Using a cute, nave, cartoon alien as the main character, the video hits an even softer spot then if it were human. No one wants to see a once blissful, cartoon alien all alone in the world, endlessly searching for his family. Never able to grasp his place in the world, the video basically shatters any possibility for hope. Thanks Moby. Now we need some drugs. Pass the Zoloft please -
