LuvBug's video for "Revive (Say Something)", continues LuvBugs relationship with 90s house and dance music, bringing it firmly into 2014 and adding their own unique twist to it.
LuvBug is a revolutionary new dance collective, consisting of London-born DJ & producer Marvin Humes, Manchester-based producer, The White N3rd and Grammy-nominated UK producer/songwriter JKAY.
Realising his passion for music from a young age, a 15 year Marvin was already developing scratching and mixing skills on his turntables in Woolwich, South East London. Also growing up in Woolwich was JKAY, who became part of the songwriting/producing duo Tracklacers. They worked with heavy-weights such as Danja (Timberlake, Usher) and Afrojack (David Guetta, Major Lazer) and also produced early material for JLS, Marvins globally renowned group. Lastly but by no means least; Manchester hailing producer and remixer,The White N3RD has remixed tunes for Diplo and Azealia Banks and was introduced to Marvin through songwriter Ali Tennant (David Guetta).
18 months ago, the trio came together at a London-based studio and started working on some tracks. One song that jumped out was a tune Marvin had worked on with producer Pantha. Marvin suggested British R&B singer Talay Riley lend his vocals to it and Resonance was born. Its already setting the blogosphere alight after going Top 10 on the Hype Machine Chart and garnering a variety of remixes from the hottest talent around including MNEK, Friend Within and Dexcell.
LuvBug have been DJing on the UK club scene for some tim. They have already confirmed more dates this summer both in the UK and abroad, including a residency at the iconic Cafe Mambo and Pacha in Ibiza.
