Filous works his magic with "Goodbye." A collaboration with Matt Kearney that we love.
Filous: only 17 years old producer and musician from Vienna. With just a few months since releasing his first production, his social network presences have amassed an impressive number of more than a thousand fans, with several millions of plays of the songs he has released so far. Remix versions of Damien Jurados Ohio or Kodalines High Hopes have opened the doors to the most important music blogs and YouTube channels for him; and also major labels have commenced to license his works and release them officially. This summer, Filous had his festival debut on the Urban Art Form Festival of 2014.
At the age of 10, Mathias first discovered his passion for music and began to teach himself to play instruments; starting out with bass, guitar, and piano, then turning towards more playful instruments like harmonica, didgeridoo, and accordion. As he didnt have the resources to record his music at home, he eventually began to produce electronic music. At the age of 16, he chose his pseudonym filous (French for rascal). Since then, he has been working hard on his first couple of original songs, which are strongly influenced by his love for acoustic music. He might be only 17 years old, but he has great visions. There is no doubt we will be hearing a lot from him in the future.
