Show Review

Spinning, from NYC outfit Ex Machinae. From their upcoming album Paper.

Artist Bio

Ex Machinae started as a studio project and first saw the light of day with
the release of 'Adjustment' in 2009. Drawing inspiration from Nine Inch
Nails, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, New Order, My Life with the Thrill Kill
Kult and the like, Adjustment is a 10-track ode to wall-of-sound guitars,
gritty drum machines, and alien soundscapes.

In the spring of 2010, Ex Machinae morphed from studio project to live band
and began to make the rounds in New York's underground music scene. By 2011,
the band was playing some of the best electronic music events New York City
had to offer, including the weekly Antigravity series, and the monthly
Contempt! party.

Since of the winter of 2011, Ex Machinae has been in the studio working
their next album 'Paper" to be released September 5th, 2012. A national tour
in support of the new album is in the works.

Vox/Guitar - Phil Petrie
