Camryn's empowering anthem, "Machines" gets a bold visual statement as she leads us through a journey from being controlled to being in control. She and her crew revolt from oppressive forces and take back their power.
Coming on the scene like a mix of Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, and Kesha, pop/rocker Camryn was only 13 years old when her career took off in 2012. Still, she had already been in the music business for five years, as her demo landed her a management deal at the age of eight. A series of videos posted to the Web in 2010 introduced her to the world, and in 2011 she released her single "Wait and See" and joined Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance on their Waiting 4 U Tour across America. She became radio's most added independent artist during the week her single "Now or Never" dropped in 2012, an accomplishment due in part to her touring with the teen pop phenomenon One Direction. The MTV network dubbed her a "Buzzworthy" artist, Billboard magazine declared her "one to watch" as their "Bubbling Under" artist, and her Facebook fans had reached 1.7 million. She ended 2012 with a call from One Direction, asking her back on the remainder of their tour that year, along with an invitation to join them on their 2013 tour of Europe.
