Hyped as the chill wave whiz-kid (and living up to it), Chaz Bundick is seeking to further his street cred as electronic artist Toro Y Moi with an album comprised entirely of analog gems. First single Still Sound is anything but still; its a shifty, upbeat bit of moog goodness dripping with retro-flair and spunky bass lines. The video strikes a similar old-school chord, coating Chaz, his band, and a few select (and random) images in fuzzy Super-8 quality. Youve never seen an orange cut quite like this on film, unless you lived in the 70s and were into some weird sh*t. Underneath The Pine is out 2/22 via Car Park Records.
