Ever since Emma, Justin Vernon's affinity for the epic has been unrelenting. So we weren't too surprised to learn that Bon Iver's new music video for "Holocene" was premiered by National Geographic. The clip, directed by Nabil, chronicles the adventures of a young boy as he wanders the sublime Icelandic country-side in search of skipping stones, glaciers, plains, and wholeness. The end result, like Bon Iver's music, is simple, yet transcendent.
