  • Emmy The Great On Tour With Noah and The Whale

    Emmy The Great is out on the road with English indie folk rockers Noah and The Whale. She will also be playing her own headline show in London on 3/11, complete with a full string section and a choir. See dates below.

  • Sun Kil Moon Announces New Album

    Sun Kil Moon, pseudonym for songwriter Mark Kozelek, will release his fifth full length album this spring. The 17-track Among The Leaves, which features some pretty fantastic track names, will be released May 29 via Caldo Verde Records.

  • Sleigh Bells to Debut Two New Songs on SNL

    Brooklyn noise pop act Sleigh Bells are going to be the musical guests on the 2/18 episode of Saturday Night Live and will be debuting two new songs from their upcoming album Reign of Terror. They can't be any worse than Lana so here's hoping that they continue Bon Iver's trend of making the indie world proud.

  • The Temper Trap Announce Tour Dates

    Ever since their track "Sweet Disposition" got a big push from the (500) Days of Summer, Australian indie act The Temper Trap have been on the tips of everyone's tongues. Baeble did a live session from the Guest Apartment. They're currently in the studio recording a new album, and if you're a fan of these talented Aussies, make sure you try and catch one of these shows below.

  • Metallica Announces New Music and Arts Festival

    30-year-old Metal Juggernaut Metallica has announced that they will host the first annual "Orion Music + More" Festival this year in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The wide range of bands playing include Arctic Monkeys, Best Coast, Titus Andronicus, Modest Mouse, A Place To Bury Strangers, and more. Metallica will headline both nights of the festival, June 23rd and 24th, playing The Black Album in its entirety one night and Ride The Lightning on the other night. Pre-sale tickets are on sale today.

  • Explosions in the Sky Announce Tour Dates

    Texas post-rock act Explosions in the Sky will be playing at this year's Coachella Music Festival. They've also scheduled tour dates up and down the Pacific Coast and the Rockies. Any fans in the area should check out the tour dates.

  • Bon Iver's Justin Vernon Collaborating with Alicia Keys

    In his short, yet prolific career, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon has been collaborating with artists like Kanye West, James Blake, The National, Flaming Lips, and also pretty much everybody else in the music business. The collaborations keep getting more exciting as Vernon announced in an interview with USA today that he has been writing songs with another powerful voice, Alicia Keys. Also, he announced that Bon Iver fans shouldn't expect another album from the band for three to five years. Watch "Holocene" from Bon Iver below.

  • Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros In Studio

    Three years after monster of an album Up From Below became everyone's summer go-to with anthems like "Home," and "40 Day Dream," Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros are finally back in the studio recording a follow-up album. The expected release date is 5/29. They're also beginning a tour in March. Check out the dates.

  • Active Child Announces U.S. Tour

    Laptop Pop act Active Child will be hitting the road this spring in support of their latest record You Are All I See. Check out the spooky video for "Hanging On" below, as well as their October 2011 set at Spike Hill in Brooklyn.

  • New James Vincent McMorrow EP

    Irish singer/songwriter James Vincent McMorrow is set to release a five track EP titled We Don't Eat. The album features the title track as well as two covers, "Higher Love" by Steve Winwood and "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak.

  • Real Estate Announces 2012 Spring Tour

    New Jersey Rockers Real Estate (who Baeble recently caught in an awesome concert at a Chinese Buffet) will be touring this Spring to continue promoting their hit album, Days. Beginning in March with dates in Australia and New Zealand, Real Estate returns to the U.S. in Philadelphia for the rest of the tour. Tour dates below.

  • We Are Serenades Announce New Album

    We Are Serenades-- Swedish duo comprised of members of Shout Out Louds and Laakso --are set to release their debut album, April 17 via Cherrytree Records/Interscope. Check out the first single from Criminal Heaven, "Birds", below.

  • Toro Y Moi Releasing Boxset
