Vitaminwater Presents: An interview with San Diego band, Ale Mania.
Sess drummer Andrew Montoya switched to bass and vocals and took up the songwriting reins to front Ale Mania, which also include former Sess players Jeremy Rojas (guitar, vocals) and Aldo Bustos (keyboards). The group was originally rounded out by Melissa Christy Beats, drummer for the Atoms. (Montoya, Rojas, and Bustos also put together another group, Beaters, whose initial demos were recorded at Montoya's home studio in North Park; the original band lineup also included Powerchords bassist Craig Barclift,) all of whom played on Rampage.
In June 2011, they released a their album A, Who Sings That Beat. Around the same time, Cory Stier (Weatherbox) joined on drums. via
