  • THE ROUNDUP: TOP FIVE VIDEOS OF THE GRAMMYS
Depending on the year, the performances usually make the Grammy telecast worth watching (at least from a watercooler perspective). In case you had better things to do than watch the Grammys (like anything else, really), here are, in our opinion, the top five performances from last night's broadcast. [Vids via The Audio Perv]

    Muse (Won Best Rock Album)

The British prog-rockers aren't always on the top of people's rockiest lists in the States but with their back catalog of killer, larger than life tracks like "Knights of Cydonia" and of course, "Time Is Running Out", they are one of rock's most epic acts.

B.o.B., Bruno Mars, and Janelle Monae (Bruno Mars won for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance)

Several great performers came together for this power trio, culminating in Janelle Monae's excellent "Cold War" (and touching some of the year's best pop, including "Nothing on You").

Mumford/Dylan/Avett Brothers (The only nom here, Mumford, didn't win)

Mumford, as predicted, kills it. The others, even Dylan, seem a step below in energy and enjoyability. More Mumford can be seen with our full length concert.

Cee Lo Green (Won Best Urban/Alternative Performance)

Cee Lo performed his (now Grammy Award winning) hit in perhaps the best costume/staging of the evening, even with resident party-pooper Gweneth Paltrow in tow for some un-Godly reason. Her movie sucked, can we stop putting her in music related things?

Arcade Fire (Album Of The Year)

Although the Grammys are painfully political and this year was probably no different (Esparanza Spalding? What is that garbage?), it was an extreme pleasure to see the best album of the year according to many, many respectable opinions actually WIN Best Album Of The Year. Coupled with an awesome Jason Seigel intro and an encore after the award was presented, this was our favorite performance of the evening. We'll even forgive the Superbowl level epileptic show that was "Month Of May", because "Ready To Start" was something else.
