Turbo Fruits came from all over the world...but, in the end they were all raised in the dirty-dirty. In the depths of Nashville, Tennessee Jonas and John met when they were climbing along the colored dragon scales. They immediately realized their notions…which were to race to the top of the dragon…John fell first, followed by Jonad. Not only did they fall into the ground, but, into their ways as well. Their ways of making music. After playing, sharing, and tearing their music into the world, they stumbled upon a dude named Max. Maximus! The Max! Turbo Max! Together they are Turbo Stein, Turbo John and…Turbo Max…Turbo Fruits! Now all they can do is smoke out of apples and play that rock music.

Though the southern gents of Nashville's Turbo Fruits may be awfully young, their rollicking brand of energetic guitar drivers recently caught the attention of what I imagine are some of the more discriminating ears around. Not everyone can claim Thurston Moore as a mentor...but that is just the case with these boys. Hear just how Turbo Fruits wowed Mr. Moore, in this, their performance at the FADER Sideshow.
